The enduring presence of the Rat Pack lives on in Sandy Hackett's tribute show.
Frank: "Do you know how to make a fruit cordial?"
Dean: "Be nice to him!"
The Summit at the Sands was 45 years ago, and altogether the entire group only appeared together a handful of times, but Vegas in all its modern-day glory cannot shake the echo of those glorious hey-hey days. They were and are what every man wants to be, and what every woman wants to be with.
Frank: "Do you have a fairy godmother?"
Dean: "No, but I got an uncle we keep a close eye on!"
They were style with substance, swing with swagger, a non-stop party that everyone wanted access to. Sounds like a town we know.
Frank: "We feel sorry for people who don't drinnk. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day." |
